Winning vs. Whining

The following video clip (under a minute) is a lovely reminder, in a very clear and direct way of being mindful of not only what you say, but how you say it.

In any work environment, on some level you are in ‘sales’ for the company.  How you come across will impact how your company is viewed.  If you are actually in sales you probably are either all ready aware of the concept of winning vs. whining, or you probably are not selling very much.

So often people of the propensity to want to blame others or the environment for their unhappiness.  Winners know we are responsible for our own happiness and success.  Maybe you are saying, ‘but I work with a bunch of jerks’.  Well that is a shame; however, you are still responsible for your own happiness.  And sometimes that means leaving your comfort zone to find it.
